If you’re a patient at Southern Ontario Fertility Technologies (S.O.F.T.) you’ve likely asked yourself or one of our staff some of these questions during your time with us in treatments or after.
The Ontario Human Rights Commission has fifteen (15) grounds of discrimination under Ontario’s Human Rights Code. The website, www.ohrc.on.ca, has a number of resources on it for citizens of Ontario to read over in the event they feel their rights are being infringed upon at work or elsewhere.
Within their website is an excellent resource titled, Pregnancy and breastfeeding, that goes through all of the above questions.
You have rights if you are pregnant, are breastfeeding, are receiving fertility treatments, have had a miscarriage and a number of other situations.
